For the Caramel Macchiato:
- 1 shot of espresso or 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
- 2 tbsp caramel sauce plus extra for drizzle
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Ice if making iced
For the Chocolate Chip Cookies:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chip
Brew your espresso or strong coffee.
In a saucepan, heat milk and caramel sauce until warm and frothy.
Pour caramel milk over your coffee, and drizzle extra caramel on top.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
Add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Let cookies cool before serving with your macchiato.
