Ingredients
  

For the Caramelized Bananas:

  • 3 ripe bananas sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

For the Banana Bread:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

For the Coffee Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp strong brewed coffee
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat.
  • Add banana slices and cook until caramelized, about 3 minutes per side.
  • Mash caramelized bananas in a bowl and let cool slightly.
  • Stir in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually fold dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  • Pour batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, coffee, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm banana bread and let it soak in.
