Instructions without Moka Pot:
Grind the coffee beans coarsely using a coffee grinder.
In a large pitcher, combine the coffee grounds and cold filtered water.
Stir well to ensure that all of the coffee grounds are wet.
Cover the pitcher and let it steep for 12-24 hours.
Strain the coffee concentrate using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
Dilute the coffee concentrate with water or milk to taste.
Serve the coffee over ice.
Instructions with Moka Pot:
Fill the bottom chamber of the Moka Pot with cold filtered water up to the valve.
Add the coarsely ground coffee to the coffee basket.
Screw the top chamber onto the bottom chamber of the Moka Pot.
Place the Moka Pot on the stove over medium heat.
Wait for the coffee to start bubbling and then reduce the heat to low.
Allow the coffee to brew for about 5 minutes.
Remove the Moka Pot from the heat and let it cool for a minute or two.
Pour the coffee into a mug and serve it hot or chilled over ice.
