Chilli Margarita with Fresh Jalapeño Slices: Spicy, Hot Drinks for Bold Party Guests

I love serving this Chilli Margarita when we host backyard BBQs or bold-themed parties. The jalapeños really turn up the heat, and it always surprises people in the best way! I remember one summer gathering where it quickly became everyone’s favorite, with people coming back for seconds and thirds. It’s easy to make, fun to serve, and guaranteed to leave an impression!

- 1 cup fresh lime juice about 6 limes
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- 1/4 cup simple syrup adjust to taste
- 2 fresh jalapeño peppers thinly sliced (remove seeds for less heat)
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder optional, for extra heat
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges and salt for garnish
Juice the limes to get 1 cup of fresh lime juice.
Thinly slice 2 fresh jalapeños. If you prefer less heat, remove the seeds before slicing.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the lime juice, tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, jalapeño slices, and chili powder (if using).
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to infuse the flavors.
Strain the mixture into glasses filled with ice.
Garnish with a lime wedge, a slice of jalapeño, and a salted rim if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
