Ingredients

Coffee Mousse

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Crunchy Layer

  • ½ cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chocolate Layer

  • Melt dark chocolate until smooth.
  • Whisk in cocoa powder, sugar, and heavy cream until silky.
  • Let cool slightly before layering.

Make the Coffee Mousse

  • Dissolve instant coffee in vanilla extract.
  • Whip heavy cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold in coffee mixture.

Assemble the Trifles

  • Spoon chocolate layer into serving glasses.
  • Sprinkle crushed cookies for texture.
  • Top with coffee mousse and repeat layers if desired.
  • Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
