- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1¼ cups water
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1½ quarts chocolate ice cream softened
- ½ cup chocolate syrup
- ½ cup whipped cream
- ½ cup sprinkles
- ¼ cup chopped nuts optional
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
Prepare cake mix following the package directions.
Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Let the cake cool completely.
Once cooled, crumble the cake into large chunks.
In a large bowl, layer chunks of cake and chocolate ice cream.
Drizzle chocolate syrup over the layers.
Add whipped cream and sprinkles on top.
Freeze for 30 minutes before serving.
