Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • cups water
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • quarts chocolate ice cream softened
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • ½ cup whipped cream
  • ½ cup sprinkles
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
  • Prepare cake mix following the package directions.
  • Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool completely.
  • Once cooled, crumble the cake into large chunks.
  • In a large bowl, layer chunks of cake and chocolate ice cream.
  • Drizzle chocolate syrup over the layers.
  • Add whipped cream and sprinkles on top.
  • Freeze for 30 minutes before serving.
