Ingredients
  

Coffee Base

  • 30 g coffee medium coarse grind
  • 500 ml hot water
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Milk or sweetener optional

Instructions
 

  • Add coarsely ground coffee to the French press. Use a medium-coarse grind for smooth extraction.
  • Pour hot water evenly over the grounds. Stir gently to ensure full saturation.
  • Place the lid on and let coffee steep for four minutes. Do not press yet.
  • Press the plunger slowly and evenly to separate grounds from liquid.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour brewed coffee over it immediately.
  • Add milk or sweetener if desired. Serve and enjoy a bold, refreshing drink.

Notes

Adjust grind size to control texture; coarser grind creates smoother coffee, finer increases strength. Avoid over-steeping to reduce bitterness. Use large ice cubes to prevent dilution. Customize with flavored syrups or spices. Store brewed coffee in the fridge up to two days for best taste.
