  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee powder
  • ½ cup almond milk unsweetened
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For chocolate glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and instant coffee powder in a bowl.
  • Mix almond milk, applesauce, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients; stir gently until smooth.
  • Spoon batter into greased doughnut molds, filling ¾ full.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean; cool completely.
  • Whisk powdered sugar, cocoa powder, almond milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
  • Dip doughnuts in glaze and set on wire rack to dry.
  • Serve fresh for maximum deliciousness.
