Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread:

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

For the Coffee Mix:

  • 2 tbsp instant coffee or espresso powder
  • 2 tbsp hot water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • In a small bowl, dissolve coffee powder in hot water.
  • Add coffee mixture to the banana mixture and stir well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool before slicing.
