Ingredients
  

For the mousse:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp strong brewed coffee cooled
  • 1 tbsp coffee liqueur optional
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whipped cream for folding in

For garnish:

  • Cocoa powder optional
  • Coffee beans optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the coffee mixture:

  • Mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, coffee, coffee liqueur, and vanilla until smooth.

Whip the cream:

  • In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Fold together:

  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until smooth and airy.

Assemble and chill:

  • Spoon the mousse into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Garnish and serve:

  • Dust with cocoa powder or add a coffee bean for that "I tried" touch.
