Custom Celebration Ice Cream Cake
This cake layers ice cream, cake, and toppings for an extravagant celebration dessert that's as festive as it is delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-baked chocolate cake layer store-bought or homemade
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream softened
- 1 pint strawberry ice cream softened
- 1 pint chocolate ice cream softened
- 1 cup whipped cream plus extra for decorating
- 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup crushed cookies
Instructions
- Line the springform pan with plastic wrap for easy removal.
- Place the chocolate cake layer at the bottom of the pan.
- Spread softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the cake.
- Freeze the pan for 30 minutes to set the first layer.
- Add a layer of strawberry ice cream, smoothing it evenly.
- Freeze again for 30 minutes.
- Spread the chocolate ice cream on top as the final layer.
- Cover with whipped cream and decorate with sprinkles, chips, and cookies.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top for dramatic effect.
- Freeze the assembled cake for at least 2 hours.
- Remove from the freezer and let it sit for 5 minutes before slicing.
