This decaf vanilla iced coffee recipe is a refreshing and caffeine-free cold beverage made with decaffeinated coffee beans, homemade vanilla syrup, and served over ice. The recipe yields 2 servings.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Cold water
  • 1/2 cup Decaffeinated coffee beans
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Ice cubes

Instructions
 

Instructions without a moka pot

  • Add the ground coffee to a coffee filter and place it in a pour-over brewer.
  • Boil the 2 cups of cold water and let it cool for a minute or two. Pour the hot water slowly over the coffee grounds in the filter.
  • In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the coffee has brewed, pour it into a glass or mug over ice cubes.
  • Add the vanilla syrup to the coffee and stir well.
  • Garnish with additional ice cubes and enjoy your decaf vanilla iced coffee!
  • Note: If you don't have a pour-over brewer, you can also use a French press or a drip coffee maker to brew the coffee.

Instructions with moka pot :

  • Grind the decaffeinated coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency.
  • Add the ground coffee to the moka pot and pour cold water into the bottom chamber of the pot.
  • Screw on the top chamber of the pot and place it on the stove over medium heat.
  • In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the coffee has brewed, pour it into a glass or mug over ice cubes.
  • Add the vanilla syrup to the coffee and stir well.
  • Garnish with additional ice cubes and enjoy!
