Ingredients
  

Cake:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk

Topping:

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pan.
  • Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  • Pour batter into the pan and smooth it out.
  • Mix cinnamon and sugar for the topping, then sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool, then serve.
