Ingredients
  

Overnight Oat Base

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats old fashioned
  • 1 1/2 cups milk dairy or plant based
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee cooled
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds for thickness

Toppings

Instructions
 

  • Whisk milk, coffee, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Stir in oats and chia seeds until evenly coated and creamy.
  • Divide into jars, cover, and refrigerate overnight until thick with a soft texture.
  • Stir gently, add toppings, and serve chilled for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

For softer oats add extra milk before chilling. Reduce liquid slightly for a firmer bite with more chew. Freeze portions for quick breakfasts and thaw overnight. Add toppings just before serving for easy assembly. Customize flavors with cinnamon, cocoa, or caramel. Store covered up to five days.
