Ingredients
  

  • Unsalted butter softened: 1 cup
  • Brown sugar: 1 cup
  • Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tablespoon
  • Espresso powder: 2 tablespoons
  • All-purpose flour: 2 1/4 cups
  • Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chocolate chips or chunks: 1 1/2 cups

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter and sugars together using an electric mixer until fluffy.
  • Add eggs, vanilla, and espresso powder. Mix until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add to the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chips or chunks.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  • Cool on a rack before devouring.
