Ingredients
Unsalted butter
softened: 1 cup
Brown sugar: 1 cup
Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
Eggs: 2 large
Vanilla extract: 1 tablespoon
Espresso powder: 2 tablespoons
All-purpose flour: 2 1/4 cups
Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
Chocolate chips or chunks: 1 1/2 cups
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugars together using an electric mixer until fluffy.
Add eggs, vanilla, and espresso powder. Mix until combined.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add to the wet ingredients.
Fold in chocolate chips or chunks.
Scoop dough onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Cool on a rack before devouring.
