Ingredients
  

  • cups unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ¼ cup strong brewed espresso cooled
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 –6 ice cubes
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Pour almond milk into your blender.
  • Add frozen banana, espresso, cocoa, almond butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Toss in maple syrup, salt, and ice cubes.
  • Blend on high until smooth and thick like a good alibi.
  • Pour into glasses, add a straw, and sip with attitude.
  • Optional: top with cacao nibs, vegan whipped cream, or nothing (you’re perfect already).
