Ingredients
  

Coffee Base

  • cup ground coffee coarse grind
  • cups hot water just off boil

Fruit Flavor

  • cup berries fresh or frozen
  • tbsp fruit syrup optional

Serving

  • cup ice
  • cup milk optional

Instructions
 

  • Add ground coffee to the French press.
  • Pour hot water over coffee and stir gently.
  • Let coffee steep for about four minutes for smooth extraction.
  • Press the plunger down slowly to separate grounds.
  • Muddle berries lightly and stir into the coffee with syrup if using.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour the fruity coffee over it.
  • Add milk if desired, stir gently, and serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust fruit amount for stronger or lighter flavor. Use shorter steep time for a lighter taste. Chill coffee before adding ice to reduce dilution. Freeze fruit or coffee into cubes for better texture. Store refrigerated up to two days and stir before serving.
