For Cinnamon Spice Tea:

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

For Pumpkin Spice Cookies:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
  • Beat butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, and pumpkin puree in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually combine dry ingredients into wet mixture.
  • Scoop dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  • For tea, boil water, add cinnamon sticks, and steep tea bag for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in honey and ground cinnamon.
  • Serve hot tea with freshly baked cookies.
