This recipe is for making a refreshing iced decaf coffee using a moka pot, which produces a rich and flavorful coffee concentrate that can be mixed with cold water and ice to create a delicious and cooling drink.

Equipment

  • Large container for mixing and storing the coffee

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup decaf coffee grounds
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 8 cubes Ice cubes

Instructions
 

Instructions without moka pot

  • Boil water in a pot on the stove or in an electric kettle.
  • Grind your coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency.
  • Place a paper coffee filter in a drip cone or pour-over coffee maker and add the coffee grounds.
  • Slowly pour hot water over the coffee grounds in a circular motion, making sure to saturate all of the grounds.
  • Continue pouring hot water over the coffee until you reach your desired strength and volume.
  • Once brewed, pour the coffee into a container filled with ice cubes.
  • Add cold water to the container until you reach your desired strength and flavor.
  • Stir the coffee and water mixture well.
  • Serve over ice.

Instructions with moka pot:

  • Fill the bottom chamber of your moka pot with cold water up to the safety valve.
  • Add the coffee grounds to the filter basket and place it on top of the bottom chamber.
  • Screw on the top chamber of the moka pot and place it on the stove over medium heat.
  • Allow the coffee to brew until the top chamber is full, then remove it from the heat.
  • Fill a large container with ice cubes and pour the brewed coffee over the ice.Add cold water to the container until you reach your desired strength and flavor.
  • Stir the coffee and water mixture well, and serve over ice.
