Ingredients
  

Cookie Butter Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 4 cup cookie butter smooth
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract pure
  • 1 2 tsp ground cinnamon optional
  • 1 pinch salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine the water and brown sugar in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • Whisk in the cookie butter until fully melted and the syrup becomes smooth without lumps.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Simmer gently for 2 minutes while whisking.
  • Cool until warm. The syrup should look silky and coat the back of a spoon evenly.
  • Pour into a clean glass bottle using a funnel. Refrigerate until completely chilled before serving.
  • Stir 1 to 2 tablespoons into coffee, espresso, lattes, iced drinks, milk, or drizzle over desserts.

Notes

Simmer briefly for a thinner consistency or slightly longer for a richer texture without scorching. Chill completely before making iced beverages. Shake well before each use because natural separation may occur. Customize with nutmeg, caramel extract, or extra cinnamon. Store refrigerated in a sealed container for up to three weeks.
