Ingredients
  

  • 1 fresh jalapeño sliced
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup lime zest salt for rim
  • 2 cups ice
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Rim: Mix lime zest and salt. Rim the glasses by rubbing lime wedges around the edge, then dipping into the mixture.
  • Muddle Jalapeño: In a shaker, muddle jalapeño slices with lime juice for that spicy kick.
  • Mix the Margarita: Add tequila, triple sec, agave syrup, and ice to the shaker. Shake well.
  • Serve: Pour into rimmed glasses over ice. Garnish with jalapeño slices or lime wedges.
