  • 1 Coffee grinder
  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 strainer
  • 4 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons freshly ground coffee beans
  • 4-5 pods green cardamom , crushed
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder

Instructions
 

  • Add the ground coffee beans, cardamom, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg powder to the boiling water.
  • Reduce the heat and let the coffee simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit for 5-7 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.
  • Strain the coffee using a strainer.
  • Add sugar to taste and stir well.
  • Serve the Ka Chava coffee hot.
