This Peppermint Mocha Bark combines two beloved flavors: rich chocolate and refreshing peppermint. Easy, quick, and surprisingly decadent.

Ingredients
  

For the chocolate layers:

  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil for smoothness

For the topping:

  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies about 10-15 peppermint candies

Instructions
 

  • Melt the Dark Chocolate:
  • In a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate with a tablespoon of coconut oil until smooth.
  • Prepare the Base:
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the melted dark chocolate evenly on the sheet.
  • Chill:
  • Place the baking sheet in the fridge and chill the dark chocolate layer for 30 minutes.
  • Melt the White Chocolate:
  • Melt the white chocolate using the same method as the dark chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  • Add the White Chocolate Layer:
  • Spread the melted white chocolate evenly over the chilled dark chocolate layer.
  • Add Peppermint:
  • Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies on top before the white chocolate sets.
  • Freeze:
  • Place the bark back into the fridge for about 30 minutes until set.
  • Break into Pieces:
  • Once chilled, break the bark into irregular pieces. Serve and impress your friends (and probably yourself).
