Ingredients
  

Cinnamon Dolce Syrup

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar light brown preferred
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract pure
  • 1 2 tsp butter extract optional
  • 1 pinch salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine the brown sugar, water, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until the sugar fully dissolves.
  • Simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes while whisking occasionally to keep the cinnamon evenly blended.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, butter extract, and salt until completely incorporated.
  • Cool until warm. The syrup should become glossy and lightly coat the back of a spoon.
  • Strain for a smoother finish if desired, then pour into a clean glass bottle using a funnel and refrigerate.
  • Stir 1 to 2 tablespoons into coffee, espresso, lattes, iced drinks, milk, oatmeal, or drizzle over desserts.

Notes

Cook briefly for a thinner syrup or simmer an extra minute for a richer consistency without becoming sticky. Chill completely before preparing iced beverages. Shake gently before each use because spices naturally settle. Customize with nutmeg, cardamom, or maple extract. Store refrigerated in a sealed container for up to one month.
