Spiced Coffee-Glazed Almonds

Crunchy almonds coated in a rich coffee glaze with warming spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • ¼ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat coffee, sugar, honey, cinnamon, and cayenne in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly.
  • Toss in almonds and stir until coated.
  • Spread the almonds on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes, stirring once.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt and let cool.
