Ingredients
  

Coffee Base

  • cup ground coffee coarse grind
  • cups hot water just off boil

Spice Blend

  • tsp cinnamon
  • tsp nutmeg
  • pinch cardamom optional

Serving

  • cup ice
  • cup milk optional
  • tbsp sweetener optional

Instructions
 

  • Add ground coffee and spices to the French press.
  • Pour hot water over the mixture and stir gently.
  • Let coffee steep for about four minutes to extract flavor.
  • Press the plunger down slowly to separate grounds.
  • Taste and add sweetener if desired, stirring well.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour coffee over it.
  • Add milk if desired, stir, and serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust spice levels for stronger or milder flavor. Use less steep time for lighter taste or more for stronger brew. Chill coffee before serving to reduce dilution. Freeze coffee into ice cubes for better texture. Store refrigerated up to two days.
