  • Saucepan
  • Milk frother
  • Kitchen Torch
  • coffee mug
  • Measuring cups

Ingredients

Marshmallow Coffee Base

  • 2 shots espresso freshly brewed
  • 1 cup milk whole or oat milk
  • 0.5 cup mini marshmallows plus extra for topping
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup optional sweetness
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional garnish
  • 0.5 cup whipped cream optional topping

Instructions

  • Brew the espresso until rich and aromatic. Divide it evenly between two coffee mugs.
  • Heat the milk gently in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in marshmallows until fully melted and creamy.
  • Mix vanilla syrup into the warm milk mixture if desired. Froth lightly until silky with soft foam.
  • Pour the marshmallow milk slowly into the espresso. Stir gently for balanced sweetness throughout each cup.
  • Top with whipped cream and extra marshmallows before serving. Toast lightly with a kitchen torch if desired.

Notes

Froth longer for thicker foam or less for smoother texture. Freeze leftover espresso into cubes for chilled coffee versions later. Pour milk slowly during assembly for prettier layers. Customize flavors with caramel, mocha, or peppermint syrup. Store leftover marshmallow milk refrigerated for two days.
