We’re doing something wild today, honey. Meatballs, but make them coffee. Brownies, but make them mocha. Sanity? Optional. Delicious? Absolutely.
You’ll roll these vegan bad boys with bold espresso vibes, then follow up with fudgy squares so rich, they owe you rent.
Because if your dinner doesn’t come with dessert—and caffeine—what even is the point?
It’s the meal version of mascara that doesn’t flake and exes who don’t text back.
Put on your apron, channel your inner queen, and let’s caffeinate this kitchen like it’s personal.

Coffee-Infused Meatballs with Mocha Brownies
Savory, coffee-spiked vegan meatballs paired with gooey mocha brownies. Equal parts bold flavor, dramatic flair, and unapologetic comfort.
Ingredients
Coffee-Infused Vegan Meatballs:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup cooked lentils
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed + 3 tbsp water
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp espresso powder
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Mocha Brownies:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup almond flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- ½ cup plant-based milk
- ⅓ cup melted coconut oil
- 1 tbsp instant coffee
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
Coffee-Infused Vegan Meatballs:
- Mix flaxseed with water, let sit 5 minutes. It’s the vegan egg thing—just trust it.
- In a food processor, combine lentils, oats, garlic, spices, soy sauce, espresso, and flax mixture. Pulse until chunky, not mushy.
- Stir in breadcrumbs. Form into 12 small meatballs with your hands like the goddess you are.
- Heat oil in skillet, cook meatballs 7–9 minutes, turning until golden and firm.
Mocha Brownies:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking tray with parchment, or don’t and live dangerously.
- In a bowl, whisk dry ingredients: flours, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix wet ingredients: sugar, milk, oil, vanilla, and coffee. Combine with dry ingredients until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips like you mean it.
- Pour batter into tray, spread evenly, and bake 22–25 minutes. Let cool (or don’t, no one’s judging).
