Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread:

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Espresso Frosting:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter softened
  • 1 tbsp espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Stir in brewed coffee, melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly combine with the wet ingredients.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • While the bread cools, prepare the espresso frosting: mix powdered sugar, butter, espresso, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Once the bread is cool, spread the frosting generously on top.
  • Slice, serve, and enjoy the caffeine-infused bliss.
